Doris Yedinak

Doris K. Yedinak 79 of Streator died Monday afternoon (July 11, 2011) at the Kewanee Hospital .
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church , Streator. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Yedinak was born July 10, 1932 in Wenona the daughter of Leo and Angela (McKeon) Sullivan. She married Robert Yedinak Sr. October 1952 in Wenona. He survives.
Doris had been employed at Peoples Savings and Loan, Streator for twenty five years and later she and her husband operated a craft shop and she did sewing and alterations. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, all of Streator. She attended Wenona grade school and was a graduate of Wenona High School, class of 1950.
She is survived by her husband Robert Sr. of Streator, two sons Robert (Julie) Yedinak Jr., Wyoming IL, Ray (Colleen) Yedinak, Denver CO, five grandchildren, Rebecca, Randy, Andrew, Mallory and Emily Yedinak, five great grandchildren and one sister, Vera Fulkerson, Wenona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Margaret Campbell and three brothers, John L., Charles and Bernard Sullivan.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
