Donalyn Hooghkirk-Novotney

STREATOR-  Donalyn “Donna” Hooghkirk-Novotney 68 of Streator died Tuesday morning (May 19, 2015) at her home.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Sister Laura Northcraft, officiating. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Hooghkirk-Novotney was born July 23, 1946 in Wolfeboro New Hampshire, the daughter of Harold and Marilyn (Walsh) Hooghkirk. She married Thomas “TJ” Fitzsimmons and later married Terry Novotney in November 2006. He survives.
Donalyn was a homemaker and was a former member of the Senior Bowling League, Streator. She attended New Hampshire schools and graduated from college while living in England.
She is survived by her husband Terry, one daughter, Kristin Mahaffay and one son Tony Fitzsimmons, both of Pontiac, six grandchildren, Joseph, Nikki, Kyle, Tiffany, Ashley and Josh, three great grandchildren, one sister, Marilyn Gay Graussam, New Hampshire, one step daughter, Lisa (Paul) Donahue, Shorewood, one step son Brian (Sarah) Novotney, Streator, seven step grandchildren and her dog Emily.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Josh Fitzsimmons.
Memorials may be made to the Pet Project, Marseilles or to the donor’s choice.
