Diana Racz

STREATOR- Diana Lynn (Gibbons) Racz 59 of Phoenix, formerly of Streator, passed away Friday Apr. 25, 2014.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday (July 2, 2014) at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator.
Diana was born Aug. 7, 1954, she was the daughter of Anthony R. Gibbons and the late Virginia K. Gibbons. She married George Racz Dec. 15, 1990. After marriage, she was a loving housewife to her “Georgie”.
Diana worked many years at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator before moving to Phoenix, where she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital.
She was formerly affiliated with St. Anthony’s Church in Streator. She graduated from Streator Township High School.
Survivors include her husband, George Racz, of Phoenix; her father, Anthony R. Gibbons, of Streator; a sister, Laura Gibbons Bensley of Lutherville, MD; brothers, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Gibbons, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mark (Debra) Gibbons, of Monmouth; nephews, Joseph Bensley, Jeffrey Gibbons, Dawson Gibbons and Cody Gibbons; and nieces Taylor Bensley and Cheyenne Gibbons.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia K. Gibbons, of Streator, and a niece, Sheridan Rae Gibbons, in infancy.
Diana had two families, her Streator family and her Phoenix family. She was loved by all and will be missed by so many.
