Debbie A. King

Debra “Debbie” A. King, 64 of Streator passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.

Debbie was born July 6, 1961 in Streator, a daughter of Charles and Barbara (Harris) Highland. She married Daniel King on July 21, 1979. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2013.

She is survived by a son, Joshua King of Streator; and four siblings, Vicky (Craig) Burgwald of Ottawa, Clara Hennesey of Kankakee, Bobby Highland of Minnesota, and Jerry Tennant of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Mike Highland and Timmy Highland at birth.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator have been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
