David "Big Time" Christ

David Roger “Big Time” Christ, 54, of Streator passed away at 2:59 PM Wednesday (July 5, 2017) at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A memorial visitation will be held from Noon until 2:00 PM Friday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

He was born March 29, 1963 in Streator to Roger & Rebecca (Coleman) Christ.  He married the former Vickie Hasche in 1996.  She survives.

He is also survived by children:  Alaina Christ of Union City, TN, Nicholas Christ of Streator and Kaila Christ of Streator; 3 grandchildren; sisters:  Lisa (Dale) Durdan of Streator, Karin (Rob) Salaz of Streator and Anne Frickey of Pontiac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Christ, Rebecca Overocker and Ralph Frickey and a daughter, Mercedes Christ.

He graduated from Streator Township High School.

He was the owner and operator of Christ Trucking and had also farmed at John Rainberg Farming in Kinsman.

He was an active member of the Screaming Eagles Motorcycle Club.

He loved to fish, hunt and riding his motorcycle.
