David Werner

David Philip Werner, 35 of Streator passed away at 9:45 AM Friday (July 19, 2019) at his residence.

Private family services will be held.  Monsignor Philip Halfacre of St. Michael the Archangel Church will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Grand Rapids Cemetery in rural Grand Ridge.  The Hagi & Baker Funeral Home in Streator is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born September 25, 1983 in Streator to Phillip L. & N. Ann (Crawford) Werner.

He is survived by his father of Streator; sisters:  Deborah Werner and Kristina Werner both of Streator; a brother, Robert Werner of Streator; his grandmother, Luceille Werner of Streator; an uncle and aunt, John (Joyce) Werner of Bloomington and cousins:  Dr. Jeff Werner, Jason Werner and Joel Werner.

He was preceded in death by his mother on May 26, 2018; his paternal grandfather, Vincent Werner and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Norma Crawford.

David graduated from Marquette High School.  He helped his father farm the family farm.

He was a very talented wood worker and could fix anything.  He enjoyed 4 wheeling, collecting Remote Controlled Cars and mountain biking.  He was very adventurous, lived life to the fullest and was a thrill seeker.  Deer Hunting was one of his favorite things to do.
