David graduated from Woodland High School in 1973. He then served in the United States Marines. He then went to work for 7-Up and also had worked at Interlake Steel for 3 years. He then drove a semi for R & L Transport, Calkins Trucking and Millis Transfers for 18 years.
David looked forward to his annual fishing trip with his dad, brothers, in laws and cousins. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid Nascar fan with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. Most of all, David loved his family and spending Holidays and weekends with his large family. He loved all of his grandchildren, but little Miss Jersey stole his heart ever since she was born premature by two months and was a little touch and go. He developed an incredible bond with her. Papa was her “best friend”.
David will be missed greatly by Judi and his entire family. He will live in our hearts forever.
Memorials may be directed to his family.
