Darlene B. Davis, 83, of Streator passed away at 3:57 PM Wednesday (November 22, 2017) at Heritage Health in Streator after battling cancer for 3 years.

A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM Monday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Ancona Cemetery.

She was born October 24, 1934 in Ancona to Willard & Dorothy (Lehman) Mitchell.  She married Michael Davis on January 1, 1976 in Monticello.  He survives.

She is also survived by three children:  Sally (Rick) Renner of Mackinaw, Jack (Janice) Thomas of Streator and Gary (Sandy) Thomas of Wenona; grandchildren:  John, Melissa, Mallory, Tim, Nicole, Stephanie (Scott), Natalie (Keith), Jeromy, Kristine and Jennifer; great grandchildren:  Jacob, Matthew, Mason, Kaden, Keylee, Breanna, Tate, Stephen, Siereh, Owen, Brayden and Zach; a great great grandson: Layton; a sister, Carol Busam of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated from Streator Township High School.

She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.  She was loved by everyone she met.

She had worked for St. Mary’s Hospital, Paris Garter Factory and in Management for LaQuinta Hotels.
