Daniel Kochis

STREATOR-  Daniel Kochis 51 of Streator died Sunday (July 19, 2015) at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator with Rev. John Gutz, officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30-10:30 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.
Mr. Kochis was born June 22, 1964 in Streator the son of Richard and Martha (Hyduk) Kochis.
He had been employed at Con-Agra Foods, Streator and was formerly employed at Eakas Co. LaSalle.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and a former member of the Sandy Ford Sportsman Club, rural Streator. He attended Woodland grade school and was a graduate of Woodland High School, class of 1982.
He is survived by two sisters, Lynne (Bill) Popielarczyk, Peoria and Nancy Kochis, Naperville, one brother, David Kochis, Streator, two nephews, William (Claudia) Popielarczyk, Morton Grove and Christopher (Tina) Popielarczyk, South Beloit, three great nephews, Maximus, Titus and Zachary Popielarczyk.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
