Cynthia A. Fogarty

Cynthia “Cindy” Fogarty, 62 of Streator passed away, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Private family services will held and burial of ashes will be in St. Steven’s Cemetery, Streator. Cremation rites have been accorded. Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.

Cindy was born July 1, 1962 in Streator, a daughter of Ronald and Patricia (Svetz) Elias. She married Robert “Bob” Fogarty on September 6, 1980 in Streator.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Marty (Grace) Fogarty of Friendship, TN; two grandchildren, Mabel and Amelia Fogarty; three sisters, Mary Jane (Albert) Mazzola of Oakhurst, TX, Janice (Brian) Schultz of Streator, and Melanie (Sam Austin) Elias of Monroe, MI; and a brother, Michael (Tracie) Elias of Streator.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Michelle “Mitzy” Anderson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
