Clarence Burow Jr.

Clarence “Pokey” Burow Jr., 64 of Streator passed away at 4:18 AM Monday (July 9, 2018) at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 2-6 PM Friday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home.  There will be no services.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Contact the family for details.

He was born on July 20, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Clarence G. & Elenore Burow Sr.  He was formerly married to the former Laura M. Chattin.

He is survived by his children:  Jay M. Burow of Herscher, Toby J. (Kathi) Burow of Custer Park, IL and Nikki R. (Cory) Dedic of Streator; grandchildren:  Jake, Isabella, Jimmy, Shawn, Lilly, Hanna and Bentley and a brother, Larry (Barb) Burow of Bridgeview.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a half brother, Rocky Burow and a half sister, Sheila Burow.

He retired as a supervisor for Mearsk Equipment Company in Elwood.

He had belonged to the Boy Scouts as a child and had been a member of the Moose Lodge.

He loved riding his motorcycle and Camping.
