Beulah Grau

Beulah P. Grau 100 of Streator died Sunday morning (May 22, 2011) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Daniel Stalker, officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Long Point Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Grau was born Sept. 10.1910 the daughter of Brady and Mae (Baker) Ruddy. She married Carl L. Grau, Feb. 12, 1930 in Waukegan IL . He preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1987.
Beulah had been employed at the furniture factory, Streator and also at the Piggly-Wiggly grocery in Ottawa and Streator and retired from Red Fox grocery, Streator in 1973. She was a member of St. Paul ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Altar Guild of her church. She attended rural schools.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy (James) Wright, Streator, two granddaughters, Paje Wright, Streator and Shea (Marc) Thiergart, Lake Forrest , IL , three great grandsons also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ronald in infancy and two brothers, Francis and Claire Ruddy.
