Barbara Whiting

Barbara Michelle Whiting, 48 of Streator passed away Sunday afternoon (Dec. 27, 2020) at her residence.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara was born November 6, 1972 in Joliet, a daughter of Terry and Linda (Lepard) Carter.  She married Michael JD Whiting on February 27, 2009 in Ottawa.

He survives along with her daughters, Heather Vermilyea of Oglesby and Emily (John) Mellos of Bolingbrook; and her mother, Linda Carter of Streator.  Also surviving is her beloved dog, Winnie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Carter.
