Ann Risley

STREATOR-  Ann Risley 69 of Streator died Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s Hospital, Streator.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator with Rev. Philip Halfacre, officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Hagi Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lostland Cemetery, Eagle Township.
Mrs. Risley was born Nov. 26, 1944 in Streator, the daughter of Gordon and Isabel (Halligan) Parker. She married Dan Risley Oct. 3, 1970 in Streator. He survives.
Ann had been employed as a nurse’s aide at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator for many years and was a caregiver for family members. She was of Catholic faith. She enjoyed reading her Kindle, spending time with family and friends and the occasional River Boat trip. Ann was a two time breast cancer survivor. She attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1962.
She is survived by her husband Dan, two sons, Russ (Amy) Gass Jr and Rob (Nicole) Gass, both of Streator, one step son, Bryan  Risley, Ottawa and a step daughter, Brenda (Steven) Lawless, Streator, twelve grandchildren, Joshua, Austin, Huston, Bobby, Brandon (Kayla Hall) and Sarah Gass, Jesse Risley, Shay (Bryan) Noonan, Sadie Risley, Sanya (Chris) Gentry, Ryan (Jim Kern) Neumann and Meggen (David) Decker, two great grandchildren, Jenna Decker and Kolden Neumann also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren, Michael Risley, Katelin Gotch and Charley Rose Risley and numerous aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hamilton, Bobby Hays, Shane Kennedy, Kenny Katrien, Tom Case Sr. and Tom Case Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests that donations be made to Matthew Riordan in Ann’s name, they may be directed to Matthew Riordan C/O Streator Onized Credit Union 120 East Northpoint Dr. Streator IL 61364
