Agnes Senko

STREATOR-  Agnes Senko 94 of Streator died Saturday afternoon (Nov. 8, 2014) at Heritage Health, Streator.
Cremation rites will be accorded, no services are planned. Hagi Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Senko was born April 15, 1920 in Albia, Iowa the daughter of John and Mary (Bakalar) Sereg.
Agnes had been employed at Owens-Illinois Glass Co. and later owned and operated the White House Restaurant, Streator. She was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Church and had attended Albia Iowa grade schools and was a graduate of Albia High School, class of 1938. She served in the Women’s Army Corps in WWII.
She is survived by two sisters, Martha Roth and Matilda Stasko and one brother Nick (Elsie) Sereg Sr. all of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Helen Sereg, Mary Trenshaw, Sophia Allison, and four brothers Mike, Albert, George and Paul Sereg.
